Lead Test Automation Engineer - San Jose, US & Bangalore, India
Job Profile:
Will lead large scale, global Testing Engagements for external Clients
covering Application Performance testing, Functional/Regression testing,
and Test Automation.
- Will be responsible to manage, lead and motivate high potential testing
teams.
- Developing engagement plans and schedules
- Able to work with international customers on an ongoing basis.
- Define and lead the program team.
- Ensuring practice and engagement success including quality, financial
performance and delivery to the customer.
- Ensuring Practice and engagement compliance, training, testing and
marketing requirements have been met.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Substantial Project Management experience
with large-scale operational or project management environments -
preferably in Application Testing
- Extensive experience using automation
testing tools
- Previous work experience working with European and
US Companies
- Proven ability to lead and motivate high potential
technical teams
- Strong Business acumen
- Proven leadership of technical teams - Impeccable written & verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of in Banking, Manufacturing, Insurance
or Healthcare Domain
- Experienced in managing all aspects of an engagement, including analyzing customer requirements, establishing engagement vision and goals, monitoring and guiding cross functional teams through
execution
- Should have bachelors degree in Engineering with excellent track
record

Sr. Test Automation Engineer - San Jose, US & Bangalore,
India
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The candidate must have a good understanding of Mercury's Testing Tools
/ Borland's Testing Tools / IBM's Testing Tools / open source testing
tools. He / She should interact with the client and the key users, do
the testing strategy and derive the execution plan for the test phase.
He / She should be able to design test automation frameworks, have good
leadership skills to build expertise in test solutions, lead automation
projects and handle onshore/offshore coordination.
We are looking for candidates with the below mentioned skills:
- Atleast 4 years of experience in test automation
- Good Testing Process Knowledge, with excellent analytical skills
- Should have atleast one year of experience in programming
- Ability to understand requirements and design Test Automation
Plan, Test Automation Framework, Test Cases and reporting
- Mercury Test Director or Rational Test Manager experience desired
- Experience in defect tracking tools
- Should possess effective communication with excellent customer
facing skills
- Test planning, managing teams, onshore/offshore coordination
- Should have bachelors degree in Engineering with excellent track
record
